Solar Return

With my Solar Return about to occur for 2013 I took a look to see what planetary influences will be effecting my new birthday year. It seems there is a stellium occurring in Pisces this year with Neptune, Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars & Mercury all gathering in the sign of the fish. So the heavenly snapshot for my birthday shows my solar return 3rd house & 4th house full of planets. They have grouped aound my IC, the lowest point of the chart and the mark of the end and beginning of the 3rd & 4th houses.

The 3rd house is the house of communication, intellect, learning, siblings and local travel. With its ruling planet  Mercury presenting in this house for me gives it even more prominence as the stellium aspect already highlights this house. So what can this mean for me. Mercury rules transport, writing, internet, commerce, ideas, reading, paperwork, teaching, studying, phone calls, neighbours, siblings, cousins, young people, neighbourhood and short journeys. So any or all of these matters can contribute to the theme of my year ahead.

I am already feeling the beginning of this influence. I have started to research and implement my business project. As Mercury is retrograde it is natural that my business project is one that I had previously begun but had to postpone. A retrograde Mercury is perfect for redoing and revising things. My project entails all the 3rd house concerns ie commerce and trade, making business contacts, internet research, design and writing, communication, local travel and transportation. With Neptune also placed in the 3rd, an element of New Age, glamour, psychic and confidentiality are also incorporate. With Venus, the planet of beauty and financial benefit and Mars, the planet of inniative and passion, sitting either side of the Sun, who represents my self expression and creativity, I have great stars for setting forth my project.

The 4th house is the house of family, the past, foundations and security. My project will be conducted from my home. This year will also see my home being the focus of renovations which are also my creation and will enhance my security and allow me to put down roots.

So we shall see how this year plays out with its advantages and challenges. Knowing the guidlines before hand can give me some insight inot navigating through the currents ahead.

the 4th house of Home, Family and the Past.

I have  recently emerged from a type of hibernation. Looking at things from an astrological viewpoint I see that all the planets, bar Saturn, are in transit  through the bottom half of my natal chart. With Saturn now firmly ensconced in my 12th house. The 12th house being the house of seclusion anyway, amongst other things. The bottom half of the natal chart is the private half. the half that is not on public display. So it is no wonder I have been a recluse and attending to my own private inner work. The nadir of the chart is the deepest inner point. All the planets (except Saturn) have now crossed that point for me. The nadir or IC is the cusp of the 4th house of home, roots and family.  Deep psychological insights that were rooted in my past have now emerged to be used to give me a more solid inner foundation. As well as a clear idea as to what is needed to make my home a solid foundation in the world. It has been dark and it has been lonely. but I have also been given help and support through the use of the different planetary energies that made aspects. I have now recently made connections with  a tradesman to begin on an important structural home project. I have also recently connected with a professional to help me  on a personal healing. I have recently laid the groundwork for 2 improved private family relationships that can have positive repercussions for my home life . I have Saturn natally in my 4th house also. So there was always the impetus towards restriction, authority, changes, delays, hard work, seriousness and depression in the areas of family, home and the past,whenever the 4th house became actvated.

Saturn transit through the 12th house

A Saturn transit is currently passing through my 12th house. As a Saturn cycle  takes approx. 29yrs, if I look back to that time in my life I can see a pattern.This is a transit that makes many hits to my chart. Saturn usually takes approx 2 and 1/2 years to move through a sign. But as my 12th house is 42 degrees in size it takes Saturn  longer than 2 and 1/2 years to pass through for me.
To feel the effects of Saturn moving through the  12th is to understand the 12th is the final house. It is the  house of the hidden and sub conscious. It is the house of endings, secrets, solitude, sacrifice and self undoing. Saturn is the taskmaster and time. Saturn is authority and Father. Saturn grounds and keeps it real. Saturn gives no short cuts or rewards for nothing. Saturn teaches patience and hard work.
Whenever a planet crosses a house cusp, aspects a natal planet, leaves a sign, moves into a new sign or aspects  natal points it facilitates an energy effect on the person's life. For me all the aforementioned contacts occur whilst Saturn crosses into my 12th house. So it  will be a life defining period for me.

Psychic Shyster

I had dealings with a self proclaimed psychic medium in Brisbane for a few years. This person was known to me through family connections. She had good intentions for the most part. This person also truly believed she was psychic and channelling. Some others believed she was also. Sometimes she was eerily able to pass on information or messages that could be taken as psychic or  mediumistic. Mostly she was vague and plainly wrong. Like the time she told a wife that her husband would not be going to prison after he killed people through a driving accident. She had even asked me to sit with her and help look at the outcome for this woman and her husband. While I relayed what my visions were she took notes in writing. At that time I described an adjournment as well as what the husband looked like and was wearing as well as the location. I also descibed little known accident facts. Unfortunately this person was ambitious enough to claim my psychic work as her own.  She added the outcome of being set free, to my visions when she spoke to the wife and husband.She had numerous readings with the couple . Always assuring the husband that he wouldn't be going to prison. The wife wasn't too keen on her readings as they seemed vague and the information was showing as not accurate. The psychic got the wife to ring me as a reinforcement because she was losing her reputation. The psychic was now saying "we" saw this and that. I told the wife it was I who saw the adjurnment and accident vision. Unfortunately I also saw bars when I focused on the court outcome before she rang me  that day. I also saw, through astrology, a very hard time for her husband in a few months time where depression may be a dangerous issue for him, along with a move for the wife. The husband did get a prison sentence and my other insights also came to pass. It is cruel and unprofessional to tell peple what they want to hear. I also accepted no coin for my time.
